HCU EASY Tablets are for use in the dietary management of proven HCU for patients aged 3+ under strict medical supervision.
HCU EASY Tablets are a methionine-free protein substitute tablet containing essential and non-essential amino acids.
Dosage¹
To be determined by the clinician or dietician, dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. 11 tablets contain the equivalent of 10 grams of protein.
Administration Guidelines¹
HCU EASY Tablets are coated tablets which are to be swallowed whole with liquid.
Storage¹
Store in a cool, dry place.
Pack Size¹
6 x 77 tablets.
Shelf Life¹
Shelf life is 18 months. Once opened, the product should be consumed within one month.
Important Notice¹
Must only be given to patients with proven Homocystinuria (HCU) under strict medical supervision. Suitable from 3 years of age. Not for use as a sole source of nutrition. Diet must be supplemented with natural protein, water and other nutrients in prescribed quantities to supply methionine, fluid and general nutritional requirements. For enteral use only.
